Opus 8 is going on tour!

Opus 8 is heading out on an Ontario tour! We are presenting three concerts, first in Oshawa, then Kingston, and lastly in our nation’s capital, Ottawa. The first half of this concert features sacred choral music by Canadian composers, from Stephanie Martin and Barrie Cabena to Eleanor Daley and Derek Holman. Opus 8 is particularly glad to be reviving the work of Violet Archer, in her monumental composition, the Bell, which has not been heard in over 5 decades. The second half features a selection of fun jazz favourites in the close-harmony a cappella style.

We hope you can join us for this pay-what-you-can concert, open to any wishing to attend without needing to purchase a ticket, with a chance to meet the singers after the performance.
