Opus 8 is a non-profit organization that has an account with The Veritas Foundation (charity). All donations receive a tax receipt from The Veritas Foundation and 100% of your donation (minus bank processing fees if donating by credit card) is given to Opus 8.

If you wish to make a donation to Opus 8 over the telephone, please call The Veritas Foundation at 1-866-640-8783.
They will provide you with your different options for donating your gift (eg. e-transfer, cheque, ETF, credit card over the phone, etc.)

If you wish to donate by e-transfer, there are important steps to follow:
STEP #1: E-trasnsfers are sent to The Veritas Foundation. When preparing your e-transfer, be sure to include in the memo “Donation for Opus 8”.
STEP #2: Contact either Opus 8 or The Veritas Foundation to inform them about your donation and include your tax receipt details (name, full mailing address, email address) and the answer to your authorization question.

Founding Patrons
In February 2015, Opus 8 began with its first concert at St Thomas’s Anglican Church, during a snow storm. Despite the prohibitive weather, we sang to a full audience, and decided we had a good thing going. Soon after, we were accepted to Choral Canada’s Podium Conference & Festival, and we fundraised to fly out to Edmonton. A group of generous patrons supported that early project, and kick-started the shift for Opus 8 from being a volunteer choral endeavour into a professional small ensemble.
